| Structural Zoning |
The Grant County Industrial Park lots are exclusively zoned for Industrial/Commercial building development. The administration of building code, permit and inspection services are accomplished by the City of John Day and the Grant County Planning Commission. Construction is subject to the State of Oregon's Building Codes Division [Link] guidelines and the Protective Covenant.
Due to the sites' close proximity to the Grant County Regional Airport, property owners must also comply with an Aviation and Hazard Easement Agreement that requires, among other things, that exterior building surfaces be of a "non-reflective" type. For a copy of the Aviation and Hazard Easement Agreement, we encourage you to contact us for complete information. |
| Economic Zoning |
| As a State Certified Enterprise Zone, businesses within the Grant County Industrial Park are eligible for several property and income tax deferral and abatement programs. The economic incentives, combined with the appeal of the region and it's centralized geographic location make the Park an ideal environment for small to mid-sized corporations, business entrepeneurs or regional distribution centers. |
